  • To be a leading provider and a trustworthy source of clear and concise information that readers rely on to make informed healthcare decisions.

Core Values and Beliefs

We believe:

  • Circumstances change, but the dignity of a person is not altered by one's health status. That is something to hold onto. That is the great beauty;
  • Knowledge is empowering and the more informed a person is about their cancer diagnosis, the better the outcome will be;
  • There should be no barriers to obtaining state of the art information about cancer treatment options; and,
  • Every person deserves to have access to factual information in layman’s terms.

CMedEd also addresses the practical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients, caregivers, and family members.

Bridging the Gap

CMedEd bridges the gaps between the patient and all healthcare professionals (i.e. physicians and nurses). Using original illustrations designed to represent specific cancer treatments and procedures, we convey a complex subject matter in an easily understood format for non-medical professionals. Our technique is patient-sensitive. While the subject matter may be complex, we focus on clarity and ensuring that all aspects of the disease and its treatments are understood.
